Our Mission Statement
The mission of AASOG is to act as an effective physician voice concerning issues related to sarcoidosis in the Americas. AASOG will function as a forum where discussions concerning sarcoidosis research, clinical care, and education can take place. In this forum, position statements may be formulated and developed, research consortiums may be established, and educational programs may be designed.
Particular attention will be paid to the recruitment and retention of junior members, as well as placing them in positions of leadership within the organization.
AASOG will also serve as an organizational satellite in the Americas to the World Association of Sarcoidosis and Other Granulomatous Disorders (WASOG).
